Previously, the industry was bogged down by lengthy searches and cumbersome rental processes via phone or email.
Having already successfully utilized HubSpot's CRM system, klarx aimed to secure its future growth through a robust online presence. kkvision was chosen as the partner to realize this vision, tasked with creating a new website equipped with numerous features and functionalities.
The company was highly satisfied with HubSpot's CRM system. klarx found the numerous features and user-friendly interface of HubSpot to be a compelling reason to also adopt its CMS Hub.
Furthermore, the integration of HubSpot's CMS with the CRM of the same provider offers strong advantages for sales and marketing due to centralized data.
For new users, it's one of the most popular content management systems because of its ease of use. Implementing websites or managing content is made simple through drag-and-drop functionality, requiring no programming knowledge—a major advantage of HubSpot. Additionally, it comes with a variety of templates for content creation.
However, it allows for complex customizations and individual adaptations, assuming the necessary expertise. Such was necessary in the case of this project.
Moreover, klarx found the user interface pleasantly familiar and easy to use, making their team more than open to using the software for their websites and content management.
Integration into the existing system was seamless, as the CMS is one of HubSpot's five software hubs and is an integral part of the CRM.
The consolidated workflow and data management are essential advantages of HubSpot. For instance, it includes a centralized dashboard where all information converges and can be analyzed. This facilitates the evaluation of marketing and sales activities, leading to improvement.
With the CMS, Smart Content can be integrated on a page, meaning content can be displayed only under specific conditions and depending on visitor data. Another plus is personalization. Through integration with the CRM, personalized tokens can be embedded, tailoring the text to the individual and presenting dynamic content.
Furthermore, the CMS Hub is reliable and secure, equipped with useful technical features that spare users headaches and efforts. For example, it includes page optimization for faster loading speeds and improves file sizes, among other things. Maintenance is minimized as HubSpot handles updates and hosting.
The analysis capabilities of HubSpot CMS allow for adaptive testing and A/B testing. This means multiple variations of a single page can be created, and through HubSpot's machine learning, traffic is evenly distributed among these variations. To further promote collaboration, two important tools were utilized for the project: Slite and Figma.
Slite is a tool that can be used both as a knowledge base and as a written documentation tool. We used it for collaborative note-taking and written coordination.
Additionally, the well-known design tool Figma was used. The design template was created in Figma. Furthermore, due to its commenting feature, it served as a common base for collaboration. This software enabled teams to collaborate asynchronously in the CMS Hub and communicate about important aspects of the project.
kkvision faced the challenge of implementing the beautiful yet complex designs of the websites within the HubSpot CMS system.
While the design itself was demanding, the specific requirements of the CMS software made it a challenging task. Development had to be carried out within the framework provided by HubSpot, which posed some restrictions compared to free web development. The demands on our developers and the project team were high.
The client requested the creation of various modules with strong, individual customization from us. Modules are reusable components that can be placed by the user in templates and online pages in HubSpot CMS Hub. Each of these modules needed to differ from one another, sometimes with significant variations, such as a slider with different color presentations.
Naturally, the result also had to function well and look appealing on mobile devices. While this is standard practice nowadays and common in other projects, there was an additional requirement to create a different arrangement and functionality of the modules on mobile devices compared to the desktop version. Implementing this was not straightforward.
Adding to the challenge was the client's desire for the project to be completed as quickly as possible, with a tight deadline. Our team of developers prepared themselves for a test of their skills.
Our experienced developers were able to implement the challenging requirements, allowing us to realize our partner's wishes one-to-one within the HubSpot CMS. The implementation of the design was achieved through the use of profound technical expertise. Adhering to best practices was an essential part to optimize operations and editing for our partner and minimize potential future support needs.
The close and frequent exchange between teams enabled the avoidance of blockers or bottlenecks, facilitating rapid development and thus meeting the deadline. The use of design and collaboration tools proved to be highly valuable and ensured a smooth workflow.

Another focus was on minimizing the amount of custom code in the modules to improve loading times. Therefore, we prefer to use HubSpot's built-in features instead of custom code to ensure optimal performance.
Finally, each module is tested on various devices and screen sizes to ensure consistent display and error-free performance. This allows us to ensure that visitors enjoy a consistent user experience regardless of their device.
With high standards and strong programming skills, the full potential of HubSpot CMS was realized. klarx's new website is a tangible example of how powerful CMS Hub can be. A highly individual, aesthetically pleasing website with dynamic content was created.
The designs created in Figma were implemented 1:1 and are now alive, generating new leads for the company. What's great is that the client can update the content in CMS Hub independently and without any programming knowledge.
Tasks related to hosting, maintenance, and updates are eliminated as these are taken care of by HubSpot CMS. Important aspects regarding security and data protection are already addressed by the CMS.
Due to close collaboration and constant information exchange, transparent work was possible. The client was always kept informed about the current progress and efforts involved. This gave them complete control over the costs and results of the project.
Additionally, kkvision gained an unexpected insight from the project: integrating images of large construction cranes into a small format is no easy task.
